On the 2nd day of our "stay-cation" we took the kids swimming in the hotel's swimming pool and out to lunch at City Creek. They LOVED swimming, and stayed in the pool a lot longer than I thought they would. Annabelle alternated between hanging out on the steps and being carried through the water by mom or dad--she was equally happy doing both, and loves to be in the water :) Stockton wants to be in the water at all times--no hanging out calmly on the steps! He's happy being carried by dad through the water, kicking his legs, and "jumping" off the sides. After we got dressed we headed over to City Creek for some lunch and more time in the fun dinosaur playground--the kids LOVE that place. As I am sure you can imagine, they were super tired by this time, so we hit the road and enjoyed quiet, sleeping kids the entire ride home.
