Josh and I decided to surprise the kids with a little overnight stay-cation :) We packed their bags during naptime and left as soon as they woke up. As we drove, we gave Annabelle little hints so she could try and guess where we were going and what we were going to do. She and Stockton were so cute and excited during the drive, and when we walked into the hotel they were sitting and lying on all the couches in the lobby, trying everything out as fast as they could! Needless to say they were happy to be out of the house and somewhere new with mom and dad! We stayed downtown right next to City Creek and walked over there for dinner. The kids ate and played in the little dinosaur playground for over an hour and were thrilled :) After that we headed back to the hotel to hang out--watching Annabelle and Stockton enjoy the hotel and eat cookies at 9pm was priceless! :)
