Pioneer Fun

We took an afternoon trip up to "This is the Place," and we had such a nice time. I really want to get an annual pass up there! It is so nice, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and low-key. I love that the kids can run free, and that there is so much space--the less I have to confine the kids, the better :) Late mornings and early afternoons during the weekdays provide the best times to visit. Annabelle and the girls had so much fun on this particular day making necklaces, kneading bread dough, and riding the train around the lake; they also spent some time riding ponies and looking at animals in the petting zoo. Simplicity in all its glory :)

Annabelle loved this little necklace she made all by herself!

I am pretty sure we'll be purchasing the annual pass next time we visit!
