This is the Place

We loved spending the day with Grandma, Brittany, Daisy, Melody, Brady, Angie, and Rusty. We headed up to "This is the Place Heritage Park" for Baby Animal Season and it was so fun! Annabelle had a few goals she was working on so she could earn a prize from the gift shop: Ride a pony without being afraid, go inside the petting zoo and spend some time walking around with the animals, and pet a baby chick. She did all three and chose a cute little princess necklace :) Stockton had a great time too! He rode a pony, ran around in the petting zoo, and LOVED playing in the little play village and train! What a fun little "playground" for the kids--they LOVED it and had such a great time. I wish I had a little play village like that in my backyard :) Thanks for the fun day everyone!

Springtime Beauty

I took these pictures after Annabelle finished her last dance class. She had been a little upset, but it wasn't anything grandma, sunshine, and dandelions couldn't fix :)

Did you know if you hold a dandelion under your chin, and your chin turns yellow, you LOVE butter? Annabelle loves butter :)
She is so beautiful!

Last Dance Class of the Season

Annabelle completed another semester of creative dance at Tanner Dance! I was thrilled with her teacher, Miss Holly, who is amazing with the children and always dances with them. She always had the sweetest things to say about Annabelle! I hope we can get into her class again in the Fall because Annabelle LOVED her and LOVED her class!

This particular day (the last day), parents are allowed to watch the entire class; I was so excited to see her dance! She started out wonderful, but then experienced a combination of stage fright (in front of all the parents) and exclusion (one little girl didn't want to sit by her or be her partner...sniff sniff). Those few things threw her off a bit. She hung in there and kept going, but had a little bit of a rough day  :( Luckily that is not what she has experienced the majority of the time, and we will choose to focus on all those great times she ran out of the dance studio smiling, asking when she could come back to dance class again! :) One week was always way too long to wait!

The Easter Egg Hunt!

Everyone had a blast at Grandma and Papa's Easter egg hunt! There were plenty of eggs and fun treasures to find, and plenty of candy to eat (even for the adults) :) Stockton loved being with everyone and simply running around outside. The girls loved finding the eggs, and helping each other find the eggs :) It was such a fun time for the kids, and even more fun to watch! I took a zillion pictures, but everyone was so cute I couldn't stop myself :)

Thanks Paige!

Thanks for memorable afternoon everyone! Happy Easter!!
